With our deep roots in Hopewell, the personal injury law firm of Marks & Harrison, is proud to serve residents of the city and surrounding communities.
In fact, one of the firm’s founding partners, David A. Harrison, Jr., secured the charter for the City of Hopewell, earning him the nickname, “Father of Hopewell.” He was Hopewell’s first Commonwealth’s Attorney as well as the city’s Mayor.
A picture of another one of our founding partners, C. Hardaway Marks, can be found hanging in the lobby of the Hopewell Circuit Court. The bridges over the Appomattox River were named in his honor in 1998.
In 2011, The Hopewell News & Patriot ran an excellent article on our firm’s 100 years of service to the Tri-Cities area.
Continuing our founding partners’ tradition of providing highly professional, skilled, and aggressive legal representation to accident and injury victims our lead attorney in our Hopewell office, Lee J. Bujakowski.
Lee is well known throughout the community as the quarterback of Hopewell High School’s 2003 state championship football team who went on to captain the baseball team at James Madison University. He returned to his hometown to practice law after graduating from the Tulane University School of Law.
